Smile Eurovision Song Contest 2004 - Istanbul

    Anyone watch the contest?

I feel "le vingt-neuf points pour le Royaume-Uni" was better than last years "nul points". And seeming there was 24 countries in the final, and 36 voting, we did alright.

Shame the Balkan countries cheated, all voting for each other.

Other than that, i thought it was a fantastic show, but i mean, what was the French entry all about ??? Otherwise a nicely done job for Turkey.

Anyone else watch it, got any comments?

NB : All " "'s are in true Eurovision French Accent style (a.k.a. Bad)

    Craig,
I though you'd be routing for Cyprus's singer seeing as though she's from Gillingham just up the road from you!

and no I didn't watch it, either flipping Wogan or Ken Bruce no thanks
all in all it is just another brick in the wall

Only caught the voting stages, having wandered back to the staff hut from the bar at camp. Wogan seemed bitter this year!

He was, seeming he was expecting James Fox to be in the top 5.
