I don't have detailed knowledge of the area the but I'm sorry to say I think you might struggle to find self catering accomadation for 70 people

I know the area very well indeed and I'm SURE you'll be pushed for indoor accomodation for 70! You could try Lochaber High School in Fort William to see if they know anywhere. As far as Scout HQs are concerned, the nearest is 2nd Lochaber at Corpach although last I heard, they were struggling to keep their Group going. The Scout District is Lochaber and, perhaps a letter to their DC might yeild fruit but I do not know who that is, neither can I find it on the web!

Here, anyway, is a link to the Lochaber area website - it might make a starting point. http://www.lochaber.com
    Best of luck!

The only place I know of is Great Glen Hostel.

    Sleeps only 54 unfortunately.

20 miles North of Fort William on A82

Indoor Accomodation for 70 I'd recken would be quite difficult to come by but it's been a while since I've been down that way.....

If your thinking Scouting wise Lochaber's DC is Pat MacKenzie. I can pass on her e-mail if you PM me, if that would help?

Welcome to - hope your having fun!

This Newspaper article gives you a contact name, number and email for the Scout Group at Corpach. Best I can do!

(The Group is called Kilmallie Scouts and is also 2nd Lochaber - in case you are confused by Corpach!)

All those with a Red/Square Scarf can stay in a hotel... The rest sleep outside in self made hotel.
